It's just about back to school time for me! I mentioned earlier this year the Masters Program I began in Arts and Culture Advocacy through DU and will be starting my next classes next week.
I've already learned so much in such a short amount of time in this program that I'm excited to get back to it for the fall session.
The further I get in this program and the more involved I get in my local art community, the more I see how valuable this degree will be to me and my goals to help the arts in small and large communities.
I took the summer semester off to focus on my painting practice and pushing that a bit further. My next series currently in process is an exciting experiment for me that I can't wait to share when it's a bit further along. I'm taking my time and really focusing on the story and process that will come out of the work.

Painting Outside
The entire month of September I will be teaching an Aspen Plein Air class once a week through the Breckenridge Creative Disctrict.
We will be heading outside with all our tools to take in and capture the fall foliage. Painting outside is very reminiscent of my life traveling in my van and right up my alley!
If you're local or popping in town this month, check out the dates for my class Here, and if you have questions regarding other instructing opportunities please feel free to reach out Here.
