Painting with Intention

This year already feels like it is flying by, and really the past few years has felt the same! It has been a decade since I graduated with my BFA and took off for Austin with lofty goals of being an artist.

That was an immensely transformative time in my life and really where my intention for becoming an artist was solidified.

While it has been a roller coaster of an experience with many ups and downs, I don't regret one bit of it.

Something I have started working on recently is getting my mind and heart back to the curious and exploratory stage I was back then, just excited to make a mess to see what happens! I am grateful for the experience I have as that has perpetuated my growth as an artist, but it is time for me to get a little bit curious again and connect with my work with full intention.

I hope you will see this in the series I am working on and good news.... there are big plans for it next year!

I am so excited to share that I have a solo show in the works for next year! Dates and times are still TBD, but what I can tell you is I have some walls to fill and love the challenge of filling a space. I hope to do this slightly unconventionally as well, so stay tuned for details!
