Art Studio in Sandy, Utah.

Elisa Gomez Art's abstract art studio is at 3462 Greenhills Drive, Sandy, Utah. This is where original paintings are produced, where commissioned works begin, and where collectors and interior designers view work at the scale at which it is meant to be seen. The studio sits at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, the natural landscape that directly informs the palette and gesture of every piece produced here. Studio visits are by appointment.

The Studio at the Base of the Wasatch

The address is 3462 Greenhills Drive. Sandy occupies the base of the Wasatch Range, and the canyon light, geological color, and mountain forms visible from the studio are not a backdrop; they are the material the work draws from. Every series Elisa produces, from the Floral Collection's layered botanical abstraction to the deep tonal fields of the Midnight Collection, begins in this specific landscape.

The studio itself is a production environment. Canvases in progress, available originals, and the physical conditions required for large-format oil and acrylic work on canvas. Not a gallery, not a teaching space. A working studio where paintings are made and where clients can see them at the scale they will occupy a room.

What You'll Find at the Studio

The studio holds original paintings across active collections and recent production. The Terrain Collection in recent works and Midnight Collection represent the two primary named series, with works ranging from 28 by 32 inches to 76 by 54 inches on canvas. Recent Work also includes other ongoing production at a range of scales. The Espontánea series on paper is also available, with smaller works starting at $795.

Commission consultations take place at the studio. Clients working on a specific space bring dimensions, finish samples, or architectural photographs and work through palette and scale directly in front of available paintings. Seeing how the work responds to different lighting conditions in a studio context informs commission decisions in ways that a website gallery cannot.

Mural projects also begin at the studio. Clients commissioning wall-scale painted installations for Salt Lake City commercial properties, office lobbies, or residential interiors discuss scope, scale, and design direction with Elisa in person before any work begins on site.

Studio Services for Sandy Clients

Three things a Sandy client can arrange through the studio:

1. View and acquire original work: The studio holds paintings across the Floral Collection, Midnight Collection, and ongoing Recent Work production. Private viewing appointments are available for collectors and for designers presenting options to residential or commercial clients. All canvas works are priced upon request. Smaller works are available for immediate purchase and pricing in the shop.

2. Begin a custom commission: The studio offers commission consultations for original abstract paintings sized to a specific space. The conversation covers dimensions, palette, architectural context, and the intended placement of the work. From that conversation, Elisa develops an original painting that is not an exact adaptation of an existing piece, but something new and unique for the client.

3. Discuss a mural project: Sandy and Salt Lake County have an active market for large-scale painted murals. The studio accepts mural commissions for commercial and residential spaces, including office lobbies, hospitality interiors, and feature walls. Mural inquiries begin with a site discussion and scope conversation.

Interior designers are welcomed for scale and palette consultations before client presentations.

The studio's work has been placed in residential and commercial interiors across the Salt Lake Valley and featured in House Beautiful, the TAO groups Marina Bay Sands Resort in Singapore,  Architectural Digest, and LUXE Interiors and Design.

Sandy's Arts Community and the Studio's Place in It

Sandy Arts Guild has produced community arts experiences since 1985 and is one of Utah's largest arts organizations. Its annual Visual Arts Show, Sandy Amphitheater summer season, and community programming establish Sandy as a city with genuine arts infrastructure. The studio is part of that landscape.

The Sandy Amphitheater, a 2,700-seat outdoor venue with the Wasatch Mountains as backdrop, shares the same mountain horizon that shapes the studio's work. The Salt Lake Art Show, held at the Sandy Expo Center in May 2026, featuring 50 galleries and over 100 artists, confirmed Sandy as an emerging fine-art market destination. Elisa exhibited at the show on home ground.

Sandy's median household income of $108,165 supports a strong residential collector and interior design market. The studio's publication record -- House Beautiful (May 2025), Architectural Digest (November 2022 and September 2016), LUXE Interiors and Design (Winter 2018) -- places its output within contexts that Sandy's design-aware client base recognizes.

Commission a Painting to Scale

For collectors and designers with a specific space in mind, the studio accepts commissions for original abstract paintings sized to requirement.

The process begins with a conversation: the dimensions of the space, the dominant palette, the architectural context, and the mood the client wants to establish within the room.

Each commission produces a new original work on canvas, panel, or paper. Commissions are not exact adaptations of existing pieces, but new unique pieces. Price is available upon request. Timeline is discussed during the inquiry process and varies with scale and complexity.
