How Abstract Murals Can Make an Office Feel More Thoughtful, Creative, and Memorable.
Birdseed Collective HQ, Denver CO When a company wants its office to feel more alive, the conversation usually starts with furniture, lighting, plants, or a better coffee setup. Of course those things matter. But in my experience, the element that most consistently changes how a space feels, and what affects the people in it, is often the one nobody has touched yet: the walls. I have worked on murals for offices, retail environments, commercial venues, and hospitality spaces.

Taking Care with Art
View of exhibit at Park City Frame & Gallery It's hard to believe February is already here, and that we have had yet another show at Park City Frame & Gallery! It was a wild run leading up to the exhibit as I prepared for this, the smaller works for next month, and a mural this week. The temperature of the nation took a turn a few weeks ago, and I think no matter what party you support or side of the aisle you sit, no one wants to see humans getting their dignity and lives st

The New Year is HERE!
2026 is here and the holiday season came and went so quickly! My group exhibit in New York was received very well, and there are a few more Keepsakes pieces available you can see here. My exhibit at Park City Frame & Gallery is up with some adjustments to make room for framing work space. It was amazing to see this body of work hanging together with Geralds ceramics. They compliment each other with perfect harmony, which is why the gallery is so good at their job. To cele

Staying Inspired!
Alaksa Adventures and more.... detail of Park City Frame and Gallery Door Mural We're back from Alaska y'all and even have had time to pop down to our family ranch in Southern Utah and Lake Tahoe last month. It's been a crazy but pleasantly full summer so far and I feel lucky to have such beautiful places at our fingertips. Alaska was surprisingly relaxing. Given we are traveling these days with a one-year-old, adventures are different, but we are still having them and seeing

Spring in Motion
new commissions and new adventures! Happy Spring! We are right in the middle of another gorgeous season of blossoming wildflowers and budding trees and its making me think about last year, and just the energy of this season. I can not get enough of the lush green that is everywhere here. It's what made me love Texas in the first place, and last year it's what was inspiring a new series as I connected to the idea of growth, change, and my life as a soon to be new mom. Sitting

New Year Wrap!
Virtual Install shot of Crush IX Wow, what a year! Recapping 2024 feels a little bit like trying to remember a crazy dream. There are some amazing, stressful, but beautiful parts, and it's hard to get all the details straight because there was so just much! To start off, we bought our first house and reconnected with the people we love in Texas, we had a BABY and started all the adventures and learning that come with that. I painted my largest mural to date, baby had his firs

Onto The Next Thing!
August was a doozy! I started and completed my biggest mural to date.... nearly 3,000 square feet of wall to cover and we did it in just two weeks! Was I scared to approach a huge project just two months into having a baby? Yes. Am I so glad I did it anyways? Yes! I am one lucky person to have such amazing people around to help me face scary things and support me in a way where I was able to get this done. Help on the wall, help with the baby, help with my own confidence....

Your Art Frame Questions Answered!
I sometimes forget that I have more than your average understanding of framing than most people from my MANY years working at the frame shop! There are countless ways you can frame art, depending on what it is made of, what your aesthetic is, and what you have access to. The big questions are always based on preserving the art, and preferences for the look! So, let's dive into the different aspects of framing, what they can look like, and why they are important. Art installation fun!
Happy Summer y'all! We welcomed home baby Cy on June 21, the Summer Solstice and what turned out to be a very wild and crazy day. There is no way to prepare someone for all the uncertainties about pregnancy, birth, and what comes next, but I am so happy to say that we are both very healthy and happy and overcome with support and love from every corner of the world! While I recover physically and adjust mentally, I have been having so much fun with the Art Placer App , to sh

Finding Inspiration in Nature!
I am always looking and finding inspiration in the world around me, and since we move so very often these surroundings change and I get to experience new things! These pieces are a few examples of finding not only colors that influence my paintings, but textures and color relationships that exist already in plants and natural elements. Taking my work with me when I travel also allows me to bring those relationships even closer! Like painting canvas at a campsite or watercolor

Counting Down....
We are now counting down just a few weeks to meeting our little baby boy, and things have been going very smoothly. I feel extremely lucky, grateful, and ready to take on whats next. These past few weeks I have been painting, keeping active, and also getting to a place where I accept that I will have to PAUSE soon. That part is going to be a huge change for me, but will also be necessary in a way I can't avoid. I've been on such a fulfilling roll with my new series and will w

Creating Spontaneous and Bright Abstract Art
A new series for a new chapter in my life This month I am so excited to share a new abstract floral art series with you all that is connecting both the changing seasons in nature and my life. This new series, "Espontánea," started out with me feeling surprising new pull towards bright and chartreuse greens recently. At first, I assumed that a simple explanation of the country Spring was influencing my pallet and that was easy enough to understand. But, the further I explored
